Dunque, in occasione della fiera di Lucca ho avuto modo di parlare con la responsabile europea della Cryptozoic Natalie Ritzdorf e con il presidente di Raven Roberto Petrillo. Entrambi si sono dimostrati gentilissimi e mi hanno fornito di alcune informazioni per tutti i giocatori di world of warcraft in italia.
Partiamo con una premessa: quando la upperdeck ha lasciato il gioco di world of warcraft, questa a cryptozoic non gli ha fornito alcun tipo di materiale, come elenco negozi, arbitri, ecc... quindi anche un judge lv3 Ude per quelli di cryptozoic era uno sconosciuto. Cryptozoic al momento ha solo una filiale EUROPEA ma ancora non sono stati creati uffici nazionali (non esiste quindi un "ufficio cryptozoic italia" per intenderci). Gli attuali responsabili europei sono: - Natalie Ritzdorf - Carl Crook Tutte le informazioni da parte dei responsabili europei vengono mandate a Roberto Petrillo (Raven) che funge da "filtro", il quale smista tali informazioni in Italia: non è un OP ufficiale anche se Cryptozoic al momento lo tratta da tale. Il nuovo sito di riferimento per i giocatori italiani non è ancora pronto (anche se lo doveva essere da un pò), a quanto pare ci sono stati alcune difficoltà: la Sig. Ritzdorf mi ha detto che se non per la fine di questo mese, entro la fine del prossimo dovrebbe essere pronto. Per quanto riguarda la comunicabilità: i gestori di Raven e Magic Store sono consci del problema. Il fatto è questo: molte volte loro ricevono informazioni che "potrebbero" girare ai giocatori ma a volte per difficoltà non imputabili a loro, tali informazioni vengono cambiate e/o prorogate e dovrebbero ri-aggiornare tutte le informazioni date in precedenza: fino a che non sussisterà un "sistema" che permetta di fornire informazioni sicure al 100% la comunicabilità sarà un pò problematica. Dal punto di vista del gioco organizzato, mi è stato assicurato che a gennaio ripartiranno i Realm qualifier. KIT BATTLEGROUNDS: allora, tali kit vanno richiesti ai distributori italiani, i quali prima li ricevono dall'america e poi li spediscono al negoziante italiano. Se per qualche motivo, ciò non fosse possibile, il negoziante può rivolgersi DIRETTAMENTE a Carl Crook (ripeto: responsabile europeo) contattandolo via email. Un appunto per l'appuntamento di Lucca: quest'anno sono stati fatti solo demo e dimostrazioni dei Raid Deck: visto che praticamente ho pernottato li ( XD ) posso garantire di aver visto un cospicuo numero di persone interessate al gioco, e di aver visto un grosso quantitativo di materiale di wow venduto agli stand. Quello di Raven ad esempio aveva finito tutte le Epic Collection ed i Box in brevissimo tempo. Non sono stati chiamati Judge di lv2 e superiori "noti" in quanto per degli eventi del genere non si ritenevano necessari. Tali persone saranno tenute in considerazione in occasione di tornei ben più importanti. Ricordo ancora il problema citato all'inizio del post circa la comunicazione dei dati da ude a cryptozoic. Per quanto riguarda le miniature, la Sig. Ritzdorf mi ha detto che la gestione del gioco non è nelle loro mani. Dopo aver postato queste comunicazioni, manderò un email al Sig. Crook e a Roberto per segnalare questa discussione e per fargli visionare i commenti ed eventualmente per permettergli di intervenire. Grazie a tutti per l'attenzione e chiedo scusa se non ho dimenticato di chiedere qualcosa. Ps: il mio inglese non è perfetto, spero di non aver preso fischi per fiaschi  ------------- |
